Connect claude.ai

Add valueIQ as a custom connector in the Claude web app. The same steps apply in Cowork and on mobile.

Before you start. You need a valueIQ workspace and a claude.ai account.

Steps

  1. Open Connectors. claude.ai → Settings → Connectors. Some client versions show this as Customize → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the server URL.

  1. Add, then connect. Click Add, then Connect, and approve the OAuth consent screen when prompted. No API key or OAuth client ID and secret are needed. valueIQ tools become available in any new chat.

Tip. On Team and Enterprise plans, an organisation Owner adds the connector first under Organization Settings → Connectors. Members then click Connect to sign in individually.

Claude's connector setup can change. If a step looks out of date, the vendor's docs are the canonical source: Claude.ai MCP docs.

Privacy

MCP calls run with your valueIQ identity and respect the same workspace permissions as the app. You can revoke a connected client at any time from Workspace Settings → Developer.
