Pipeline and Kanban
The Pipeline is the workspace-wide view of every deal, with the business case attached to each one rather than a stage and a dollar figure alone. Use it to find deals, move them through stages, export the list, and check a deal's value without opening it.
Before you start. Left nav → Pipeline. The active workspace controls which deals you see; check the workspace switcher in the top-left header first.
List view
The list view shows your deals as rows with a filter bar at the top.
- Stage chips. Multi-select to show only the stages you care about.
- Include closed and Include archived. Both are off by default. Turn on Include archived to find a deal you archived earlier.
- Search. The search box matches company name and deal name.
- Sort. Sort by any column.
- XLSX export. Download the filtered list as a spreadsheet.
Two columns need a word of explanation. The column headed "VALUE" shows the deal's price, the amount you are proposing, and not the deal's economic value. The column headed "VIQ %" is Value Capture: that amount divided by the deal's expected value, the share of the value you create that the price captures. A low figure means you are leaving value on the table; a high one means the price is close to the value delivered and the business case needs to hold.
To narrow by product instead, switch to the Products view, open the product, and scroll to its linked deals.
Kanban board
The Kanban board lays the 12 stages out as columns: lead, qualified, demo, discovery, proposal, negotiation, verbal commit, contract sent, legal, and the three closed states. The columns are grouped into four collapsible buckets, Pipeline, Active, Closing, and Closed, so you can fold away the parts of the funnel you are not working today. Your bucket and view preferences persist between sessions.
Drag a card across columns to change the deal's stage. This does the same thing as clicking the stage badge in the deal header.
The deal intelligence side panel
Select a deal from the list or the board to open its side panel without leaving the Pipeline. It shows:
- Value snapshot. The deal's value at a glance.
- Copilot deep link. One click into that deal's Deal Copilot.
- CRM sync status. Populated only when the SugarCRM integration, which is in beta, is connected to the workspace. Without it, this field shows no CRM data.
Click the deal row or card to open the full deal workspace.
Team view for admins
Admins see a Team view toggle in the filter bar. Turn it on to include other members' deals alongside your own. Combined with the stage chips and the Value Capture column, it gives a sales leader a quick read on where discount pressure is building across the team.
Tip. Filter to the proposal and negotiation stages, sort by "VIQ %", and start your pipeline review with the deals at the bottom. Those are the ones where the business case has the most work to do.
